Belgaum District, the second largest in
terms of geographical area is growing to become as a vibrant economy. Its strategical
location, connectivity, salubrious climate, huge natural resources, vast pool
of human talent, cheap and skilled labor, educational facilities, recreation
facilities lead the district towards a phenomenal growth in social, economical,
industrial and trade sectors.
Belgaum is most potential in view of the
available resources and available infrastructural facilities. Government of Karnataka have perceived new Industrial
Promotional policy through which many incentives and concessions are offered to
